Varas

Benjamin Muñoz Varas, born in 1997, goes under the moniker Varas and is a self-taught producer, guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden.

His music can be described as “almost-pop”, meaning pop songs that aren’t afraid to stray into unexpected areas. Varas debuted in 2019 with single “Comfy” (ft. Raghd), and the following year, the EP “Set One” was released. Between layers of unique melodies and tempo changes, Varas proves his ability as a songwriter to invite the listener into his world. Varas's second EP, “There You Go!” was released in the early spring of 2023.
