Born in 2001, Vilhelm Buchaus is a Swedish singer-songwriter blending classic rock influences with modern pop sensibilities and introspective storytelling.
After years of developing his sound, Vilhelm emerged as a solo artist in 2022 through a series of covers and original releases. In 2023, he officially debuted with the single “First Cut”, followed by songs such as “Take Me to the Moon” and “Dying Light”, quickly establishing himself as a promising new voice in the Swedish music scene.
In 2025, Vilhelm released both his debut EP “Quiet Rooms” and his debut album “Shades of Blue”, projects that showcased his ability to merge heartfelt songwriting with larger rock-driven arrangements. The same year, he made his Melodifestivalen debut with “I’m Yours”, introducing him to a wider national audience.
In 2026, Vilhelm returned to Melodifestivalen with “Hearts Don’t Lie” and continued expanding his artistic identity with the Swedish-language single “Hipp Hurra” — a nostalgic and emotionally charged collaboration with Elias Kapari.
