Julia Bender is a Swedish actor based between Stockholm and London. Her screen credits include the Disney feature Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), the feature film Before We Forget (2023), and the upcoming TV series Madhouse, currently in development.
Her work also includes the feature film Retreat: A Spiritual Journey with Malcolm Schwartzman (2021) and several short films in which she has taken on a variety of character-driven roles.
Julia trained at Actors Studio Stockholm and Calle Flygare Teaterskola, and has also studied with Philippe Gaulier. Fluent in both English and Swedish, she works across international productions and brings a versatile performance background to the screen.
