As a nine-year-old, Yaro started out as a percussionist in the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra until he eventually moved to Stockholm with the desire to develop and deepen his musical vein. His passion and devotion to electronic music quickly resulted in several releases with world-renowned artist duo Icona Pop, which has led to major collaborations, most recently with Ultra Naté’s “You’re Free” and VIZE “Off Of My Mind.” The last mentioned entered the US Billboard dance chart and stayed there for 14 weeks. In addition to the long-standing collaboration with Icona Pop, he produced the official Ofenbach remix for the Coldplay and Selena Gomez collaboration “Let Somebody Go.” Most recently Yaro has co-written Felix Jaehn and Zoe Wees “Do It Better” which peaked at #2 on the German airplay chart, as well as Armin Van Buuren’s single “One More Time (ft. Maia Wright)” which reached #1 on the US dance radio chart.
